The Swix Performance Speed PS8 Red wax is an affordable wax for ski trips and training. Also works very well as a base preparation wax. Easy to melt and very convenient to work with. The speed of the waxing iron should be approx. 8-10 seconds for a skating or alpine ski. The wax can be reheated after cooling to room temperature (10 min.) for better durability.
